Journal Entry #3 - Writing the News Articles

"Drunk driving accident leads to death of teen."

Fernando Waters died on impact in a drunk driving accident on Friday, October 6, 2017. 

This occurred in Rapidsville, right outside Fernando's home. 

Fernando was driving under the influence, going 180 miles per hour when he lost control of his vehicle, which sent him into a telephone pole. 

When first responders arrived, Fernando was unconscious. It was at the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Luckily, no one else was involved in the accident. 

" My team and I tried everything we could to save Fernando. We can not stress enough how important it is to not drink and drive." Said first responder, Allan Crater. 

" I watched Fernando lose control from my front window and knew it was not going to be good." Explained Bob, the nosey neighbour.

We later found out while interviewing Fernando's mother, Sally, that Fernando was going to his friend, Madz graduation party and his girlfriend was going to sober drive him home, until they got in a fight and she left the party crying. Fernando then, proceeded to drive himself home.
